Richmond limousine service |
Randy Allen
The 4th of July is almost here, and it is time to begin thinking about which event you most want to attend. No matter which one you choose, you will have to plan the logistics. Getting in and out can be stressful and time-consuming, and driving in all the traffic presents its own problems. Our limo service in Richmond can provide you with a stress-free and comfortable trip to your event and back again with our experienced chauffeurs. If you need to drive in from Charlottesville, we can also arrange a Charlottesville limo to get you to all the exciting events in Richmond.
There are many events in Richmond to commemorate July 4. Whether you want to celebrate at a park, on the riverfront or at a theme park, Richmond has the venue for you. Fireworks, food and fun are yours no matter which event you attend.
The King’s Dominion is holding their July 4 Star Spangled Celebration June 30 – July 4. There will be live music, silent disco dancing, a movie under the stars, chairlift rides, a bonfire, storytelling, a block party for kids, a petting zoo and fireworks. Admission is free for service members and discounted for their family and friends.
The Smith Mountain Lake Fireworks is holding a firework show and Saunders Volunteer Fire Company Fundraiser at the Parkway Marina. They will have activities, food, live music from The Wrox and the Marina Carousel by the water. Admission is $10 for adults, and kids are free.
Busch Gardens is having a Firework Spectacular at their theme park. You can reserve a picnic or cruise to see the fireworks without any obstacles. There is no better way to spend the holiday than at a theme park with a closing fireworks extravaganza.
What is more American than baseball? The Richmond Flying Squirrels are taking on the Akron RubberDucks at The Diamond 4 at 6:35 p.m. There will be fireworks that night, and the subsequent evenings of the fifth, sixth and the seventh of July will have more fireworks and other special events.
The Dogwood Dell Fourth of July Celebration at Dogwood Dell (Byrd Park) is a fun and free night of music and fireworks. Listen to the Richmond Jazz Band at 6:30, and then enjoy the Richmond Concert Band and Carillon bells at 7:30. A grand finale of fireworks will be held at sunset. Admission is free.
Enjoy a traditional firework show at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds with your family at this free event. There is a lot of food and fun, and the children can get a five-dollar wristband for admission to the children’s inflatables and other activities.
Each of these events and parties are sure to be very popular and well-attended. You will have a lot of fun once you arrive with your family, but the traffic in and out is bound to be tremendous. We can guarantee you a pleasant, cool and comfortable ride there and back, and you will not have to try to judge the correct moment when you can insert your vehicle between the automobiles all around you. Let our chauffeurs take care of the whole drive, and you will congratulate yourself on a night well-spent.
