Joyce has been driving for James Limousine Service since 2010. Previously, she worked for Henrico County as a school bus driver after she obtained her Commercial Drivers License (CDL). When she’s not driving, she enjoys an active lifestyle through running, swimming, hiking and working out. She has been happily married and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
In 2019, Haywood and his wife celebrated thirty-three years of wedded bliss! They have two adult children of whom they are very proud. After teaching Health and Physical Education for 36 years, Haywood joined the retired life… somewhat. In addition to his career in education, he has been both a college and high school basketball official for over thirty years. Due to his basketball schedule, he is only able to work part-time for James Limousine Service. Haywood has enjoyed serving as a Deacon in his church for over twenty-five years. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, working out at the gym and all sports. But most of all he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Steve is a retired police officer from Charlottesville and is widowed with 5 grown children and 3 grandchildren…. with one on the way. His 2 dogs are named Max and Daisey. He served 13 months in Vietnam as a door gunner attached to the Air Calvary and attended WVU on a football scholarship. Steve has been with James Limousine since the summer of 2017, when the car service he was working for was acquired by James. James Limousine is a great company and he is proud to be a part of it. This is his 9th year as a chauffeur. He is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Yankees, Ohio State Buckeyes and West Virginia Mountaineers. His claim to fame is when he pulled a University of Virginia coed from a burning car involved in an accident in 1978. Thankfully she lived, but he received 2nd degree burns and was awarded the Police Department’s medal of valor. What a lot of people don’t know about him is that he loves to cook, enjoys live music (especially Carolina Beach Music), loves to dance and travel. He describes himself as pretty laid back, loves meeting new people and treats everyone as he wants to be treated himself. He believes every client is a VIP.

Originally from England, Graham joined James Limousine in June 2017, after owning Richmond’s only custom cakery, Cakes by Graham for 22 years. Prior to that, he enjoyed a very successful military career, serving in the British Army Catering Corps. His final assignment was as Senior Technical Adviser to the United States Culinary Arts Team at Fort Lee, Virginia. Outside of work he enjoys his 8 grandchildren, Shag dancing, log cabins and his 220-gallon salt water fish tank. He loves to help at ASK, a local childhood cancer foundation and eats chocolate every day…. justifying it as a vegetable, as it comes from a bean.
Glenn married his best friend 40 years ago and has 2 beautiful children and a granddaughter. After working at A.H. Robins Pharmaceuticals (Wyeth and later Pfizer) for 30 years he retired in 2007. He really enjoys working with the missions’ team at his church and has been to Haiti several times. After earning his pilot’s license in 1972, he added an IFR rating and Multi-engine commercial rating and loves to fly. One day he plans to become more active in mission work. In 1976 Glenn started officiating football and worked his last game on the field in 2015. He became an observer in the booth, as it’s much easier on the body. He enjoys working for James Limousine due to the combination of professionalism and great people to work with. He has seen this company grow tremendously and expects the success to continue.

Before coming to James Limousine Service in 2012, he was a land surveyor for 25 years. A fellow surveyor, who worked for James limo at that time, recommended Floyd contact James Limousine. Each day he looks forward to the moments he can show his clients how special they are. Floyd is excited at being part of the company as it grows. He describes himself as a simple man who likes to spend time with his family, particularly cooking in the kitchen. Having lived in Richmond all his life, he appreciates the rich history of Richmond.
Jack grew up in the coalfields of Southwest Virginia. He married his high school sweetheart and in 2020 will celebrate his golden wedding anniversary. He and his wife have one son, one daughter and 5 grandchildren. After 41 years with Wilson Sporting Goods Company, he retired in 2015. While looking for something part-time, an existing driver, Glenn T. introduced him to James Limousine Service, where he enjoys driving today. In his free time Jack takes off his suit and dons a different uniform as he officiates football and fastpitch softball. His biggest love is spending time with grandchildren, especially during family week every summer.
Sean McCoy has lived in the Richmond area since 1998. Originally from Chesapeake, VA, Sean came to Richmond to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. After college Sean held some interesting jobs … from a position at Circuit City’s Corporate office, a manager at a party store, and a private investigator for a while. Prior to working for James Limousine Sean was a taxi driver for 6 years.
Al joins the James Limousine driving team after spending 35 Years in the tobacco industry in a wide range of management positions (ranging from leaf buying, cigarette manufacturing, budgeting, personnel, setting up manufacturing facilities and sales engineering), which afforded him worldwide travel. In 2007 he retired after 35 years as a NCAA football official. He has been active for 50 years as a VHSL football official and 25 years as a VHSL basketball official, from which he is currently retired. Al is married to a retired (Delta) international flight attendant and has 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren. In his free time, he volunteers in restoring tombstones and graves in a 300-year-old cemetery.
Quinton came to James Limousine Service in October of 2010 after spending 6 years with the military in various locations before landing at Ft Belvoir. After spending 2 years there he decided to take an opportunity to join the postal service in 1980, where he spent the next 30 years before retiring in 2009. Early in 2010 he accepted a job driving a school bus and quickly realized that it wasn’t for him. A good friend told him a limousine company that he worked for was looking for Commercial Driver License (CDL) drivers so he applied and was hired. Quinton is a part time team member of James Limousine and freely admits it’s the best job he’s ever had. He enjoys the flexible schedule and thinks the people are great. Outside of work he enjoys traveling with his wife, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.
Josh is a native son of Richmond, Virginia. Born and raised in Henrico County, Josh attended Virginia Commonwealth University earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and taught in General Music and Band for ten years. During his time in the school systems, Josh noticed a need for quality Math teachers, so he decided to go back to school and get a certification in Middle School Mathematics. Recently, Josh got his first job teaching 6th Grade Math in rural Virginia and couldn’t be happier. Still an active musician, Josh participates heavily in the Richmond Pops Band where he was awarded the Outstanding Musicianship Award (in June, 2018). His other performance duties include Derbyshire Baptist Church, Shady Grove UMC, and the Jason E. Call band, where he lends in talents on the drums and even some vocals from time to time. Josh came to James Limousine in November, 2018, upon the recommendation of a good friend and he hasn’t looked back. Josh has enjoyed the teamwork from the drivers, dispatch team and reservation team…not to mention driving some top-quality vehicles!
AJ came to work at James Limousine Service in June, 2018. He worked for 33 years with the Virginia State Police, 20 of those years working in the Executive Protection Unit, providing security and protection for the Governors and first families of Virginia. Upon retirement, AJ looked for a part time job and looked for a place where he could do one of the things that he likes to do best – drive. After looking at the various limousine companies in the area, AJ decided that James Limousine was the best company to work for. James Limousine has an excellent reputation and works to serve the Richmond community – two things that AJ believes are most important in company where he works. When he has free time, AJ enjoys working out at the gym and riding bicycles. One of his favorite past times is keeping up with the new cars and trucks that are being designed and built.
Jason began his career with James Limousine Service (JLS) in March of 2018. In his prior career path, he spent 20 years serving as a Firefighter/Medic. Having lived in and around Richmond his entire life, James Limousine Service always stood out to as a company for whom he could see himself working. The professionalism, positive customer service driven attitude, and family atmosphere has made the decision to join the JLS team a great choice for his family. He and his wife, Betsy, have been married for 11 years and have a beautiful 7-year-old daughter and one very spoiled 8-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. In his spare time, he loves to travel with family, play golf, fish, and watch his daughter play sports.
Wayne was born and raised in Mathews County, Virginia, and comes from a long line of commercial fisherman, sea captains and merchant mariners. He enjoys boating, fishing, waterskiing and flying drones. He has worked with the public for most of his life and especially enjoys working for James Limousine. JLS has given him so many opportunities, not only earn a living, but to meet so many interesting people from all walks of life and he is proud to be a part of the team. He feels JLS is second to none and they consistently set the standards for exceptional service.
James is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and has served in the Virginia National Guard. He retired from the Richmond Fire Department after 30 years of service on 10/10/10. He is the proud father of a fine young man (James III) and a wonderful young lady (Alexis).
Keith is a Washingtonian, being born at George Washington University Hospital. He married his wife Deirdre on New Year’s Eve in 2008. Amusingly she picked that date to get the tax break, being that she has been a CPA for more than 20 years. Keith started volunteering as a fireman in Maryland, when he turned 16 in 1973 and stopped in 2000. He retired from the Fire Department in Washington, D.C. in February, 2009 after 32 years. During that time, he was in the motorcades with the Reagan’s as a paramedic. He was a member of the Albemarle County Sheriff’s Office since 2013 as a sworn Reserve Deputy Sheriff and was responsible for the Command Trailer which was used for Search and Rescue Operations over all the Commonwealth.
During his free time, he enjoys fishing, eating crabs and playing the organ both at home, and in a Baptist Church in Charlottesville.
Keith has been driving limousines between Maryland and Virginia since 1985, and has been very fortunate to have driven numerous VIP’s, actors and singers. He has always wanted to drive for a large and elite limousine service. After working a large corporate 2-week event with James Limousine Service, and meeting numerous drivers and owners, he is happy to say he has found his home.
Heath enjoyed a 32-year career in the supermarket industry and is entering his 18th year with James Limousine. His wife of 40 years, Sandy, is also Heath’s best friend. They have two grown children, who both live and work in Richmond. Heath and Sandy have recently adopted two little girls, Biggs and Bitsy.
Prior to retirement Gary was a consultant to private and public organizations requiring specific needs in business, workforce and project development. He has also developed national and international projects in China and Russia. He enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as golfing and traveling when time permits. Upon retirement he found it necessary to continue working at an age that jobs were hard to acquire. He came upon the chauffeur industry and began enjoying a new career. In 2018 he joined James Limousine Service and has enjoyed his time with this very professional group of colleagues and a great group of clients. Gary loves his day to day interactions with everyone associated with James Limousine Service.
Adam is a native Virginian, a graduate of Virginia Tech and a former Certified Financial Planner. After a 25-year career in banking and investments, he obtained a Class B commercial driver’s license and spent two years driving a school bus for Albemarle County Public Schools, before becoming a full-time employee for James Limousine Service in May 2018. He enjoys serving others, hiking, reading and spending time with his two wonderful daughters.
Mark was born and raised in Virginia. He loves nature and the outdoors. Residing in the Williamsburg area, Mark is a husband, father, and grandfather. Mark has been with James Limousine Service since 2016, but before coming to James, he was a sign maker. He enjoys woodworking when he’s not driving.
Ken, an Army Veteran, joined James Limousine Service in 2015 from an international TNC with the strong desire to provide outstanding and reliable customer service while participating in the daily operations of a small business. The flexibility of James Limousine scheduling and support of other chauffeurs, allowed Ken to complete his degree in a few short years. Ken enjoys the ever-changing scenery of the limousine business and opportunity to provide service for a wide variety of clients.
Ray gladly accepted a job offer from James Limousine Service 2 years ago after a merger with Blue Ridge Executive Transportation (BRET) of Charlottesville, for whom he drove for 6 years. Chicago, born Ray, spent his childhood in Burma (Myanmar) and boarding school in India and learned English as his second language in first grade. A cabinet maker, with time spent in theater and hospitality, Ray enjoys the chance to serve those he transports with a bit of international experience to help. Ray relishes time he can spend with his 4 grandchildren, who all live close by in Charlottesville.
Otis resides in Chesterfield County, a suburb of Richmond. He previously worked in retail, banking, investment, insurance, lending, and real state. He is a graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond (LMR). In addition, he is active in the local community, serving as a mentor, coach, and community outreach representative. Otis enjoys traveling, fishing, shooting sports and is an avid athlete and sports fan. Go Yankees!
Neil started working for James Limousine in early summer of 2018. The reason he chose James as a company to work for is because they always stood out with professionalism and held to a higher standard. Things he likes to do when he’s not at work includes studying computer science, organic chemistry and nuclear physics. He enjoys flying planes and jet skiing on the Atlantic and in the Caribbean, playing live music with bands and trying new foods at exquisite restaurants.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York., Daryl and his family relocated to Virginia in 2005. Daryl is married and has 3 children. He has been driving professionally for 7 years for the City of Richmond, and just recently started working for James Limousine in October, 2018. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, working on music production and watching movie. especially sci-fi. He also loves traveling, screen writing and sports. Daryl is a huge baseball fan and he hopes to one day see the Mets win the World Series again.
Born and raised in Virginia, Jim moved from the DC area to Richmond in 2005. By day Jim works as a Business Analyst for a local software development company. As the father of 5 kids, his after work time is split between kids, sports, school activities, cooking, and driving for James Limousine Service. Jim came to James on a part time basis in June 2018. He enjoys driving and meeting new people. And with all the early morning and late-night drives, it is abundantly clear that Jim does not like to sleep.
As a former law enforcement officer and a United States Marine Corps veteran, Stanley is proud to work part-time at James Limousine, where management is dedicated to safety, professionalism and excellent customer service. He is a full-time case manager for a substance abuse treatment program.
In his leisure time he enjoys salt water fishing, billiards and landscaping his yard to enhance his homes curb appeal.
Chip has been married to his wonderful wife for 39 years and they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He worked in the food service industry for over 30 years, traveling the country. Chip has been officiating high school football for 49 years, and hopes to continue on the field through year 50. He also works for the Capitol Police in the Capitol of Virginia as a security screener. His leisure time is spent at his river house on the Rappahannock, or any golf course. The James Limousine experience has afforded Chip the luxury of meeting the most interesting people in the world.
Craig is originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he grew up and was educated at the University of Oklahoma. Now residing in Henrico County, Craig and his wife Suzanne have a daughter and a grandson. He retired from the Department of Defense as a civilian after 32 years at Fort Lee, Virginia. Life keeps him busy as a referee for basketball and an umpire for softball. In his leisure time he enjoys traveling, playing golf, and working in his yard.
Originally a native North Carolinian who grew up in Chapel Hill and loves the Tar Heels. Carlton has been married for 27 years with two children and a dog. Before coming to James Limousine Service, he worked in retail for 30 years. During that time, he was a buyer and store manager. During that time, he really enjoyed interacting with the customers and providing them with a great shopping experience. It was a natural transition to James Limousine 12 years ago, where he could continue providing customer service while meeting new people. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family, boating, and listening to vinyl records and working with his hands on any outside activity.
Robert worked as a manager at a local telecommunications company for 22 years and has been driving with the James Limousine team for 7 years. Working with James Limousine has been very enjoyable because it’s given him the opportunity to work in a great business environment and meet many new people. Robert has a beautiful wife and 3 wonderful children….one daughter in college, a son in 10th grade, and a son who will start middle school in the fall. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the lake, car races and concerts… particularly his favorite artist, Chris Stapleton.
Joe grew up in the Richmond area after his family relocated from Norfolk prior to his starting kindergarten. Besides a brief stint in the Atlanta area, he has been here the entire time. He enjoys Richmond’s ever-expanding craft beer scene and playing ice hockey. In the winter, he loves skiing at Snowshoe, West Virginia, and always looks forward to the next snow storm! Working as part of the James Limousine team for the past three years has been quite rewarding. Joe has found a great group of dedicated and genuine coworkers. Long journey trips are a part of the job that he likes most, as they provide the opportunity to see new places. If Joe gets the chance to have you in the car don’t hesitate to ask him to play something from his vast and quickly growing musical playlist!
After spending 20 years in the hotel industry, Victor became a professional chauffeur in Denver, Colorado. He also worked in Nashville, Tennessee, and now has been a chauffeur in Richmond for 8 years. Victor enjoys playing the guitar, piano and spending time with his family.
Richard has been a limousine driver for over 25 years. He has also worked in the funeral industry, where he held the positions of Funeral Assistant and Coroner’s Assistant. Richard has also been a personal driver for high profile clients.
Earlier in life he was a two-sport athlete at Armstrong High School. He attended Norfolk State University, where he played football and traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to play semi-pro basketball. He loves working for James Limousine because of their professional and family environment.
Glenda joined James Limousine Service in 2018 after 20 years in the hospitality industry. Glenda works in the Charlottesville Office on the reservations team. Although she is an avid softball player, she is currently sidelined by injuries. She enjoys spending time with family, which includes her cat, and also painting and sketching, when time allows.
Hope began working in the transportation industry in 2007 and joined James Limousine in March 2012, becoming a Partner in 2017. She has 3 grown children – twins(boy/girl) and a daughter that is 17 months older than the twins. When not in the office, she enjoys the beach and good wine.
Fun facts: She is a Licensed Realtor in the state of Virginia and she competed in the Miss Teen Virginia Pageant.
Originally from Hanau, Germany, Mario’s passion is making sure that all the vehicles leaving the facility are properly serviced and ready to be operated in a safe manner. He has worked as an automotive mechanic in the Hampton Roads area in various settings over the past 17 years and loves the challenge of the work. He is happy to be a part of such a great team at James Limousine. In his leisure time, he enjoys boating and surf fishing with his wife of 20 years, repairing things around the house, and watching all things history related. People would be surprised to know that he spends more time cleaning and pampering his boat than using it.
Lynn’s previous job experience was at HCA as a respiratory therapist. She was the first Registered Respiratory Therapist to work at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital (HDH), Forest Avenue Neonatal Intensive Care Unit specializing in premature and neonatal diseases. In 1988 she was the unit’s manager and helped set up the department. Lynn’s own triplets were born at 34 weeks gestation in 1989 at HDH, Forest Avenue and were cared for by all of her fellow coworkers. She began working at James Limousine Service (JLS) in 2007. Her passion for JLS is to make sure the business is successful for our team members, and the company continues to uphold its excellent reputation for outstanding service and community involvement. Lynn’s hobbies include playing and watching tennis, travel especially going to the beach, jewelry making and simply enjoying life every day.
“Jay” is originally from New Jersey, but lived in Virginia since 1997. He joined James Limousine Service in 2017 as part of the fleet detail team. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing basketball and coaching the games at his local county youth basketball league. To relax he plays on-line video games and watching sports.
Mitch has been on the James Limousine Service detail team since 2014. He hails from Brooklyn, New York, and moved to Virginia in 1995. He loves watching football and basketball and is proud of his collection of Invicta watches.
In 1981, Tom earned his BS in Finance with an accounting concentration from Pennsylvania State University. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he and his wife, Cyndi, moved to the Richmond area in 1998 to live close to an aunt. His original job in the mortgage division of a small local bank ended in 1999, after they consolidated their mortgage operation in Virginia Beach. He drove a school bus while in college and enjoyed driving, so responded to a James Limousine ad the following week and started 11/10/99, driving for the original owner James Garrison, while he searched for a new accounting position. He enjoyed the limousine work so much that when he found a position at the Brandermill Country club, he continued to drive for James Limousine Service part time thru mid-2016.
In 2006 the then owners decided to sell the company and offered it for sale to any interested employees, he joined Randy and Lynn Allen in purchasing the company and became a joint owner January 1, 2007. In 2017 he sold his ownership to prepare for retirement down the road, and probably a move back to Pennsylvania. He continues to this day as the company CFO.
Karen is a proud member of the reservations team and is always ready to help plan your next special day. In 2017, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. Before coming to James Limousine, she spent over 15 years in the retail field at the management level. One of the things she enjoys the most about working at James Limousine is the opportunity to get to know so many of her clients and provide the best customer experience possible. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with her friends and family and finding a nice fire to enjoy.
Amber joined James Limousine in August 2018, after working some special events for the past 2 years with the company in Charlottesville, Virginia. She currently works part-time with James Limousine and has worked full-time with Aetna insurance for the past 10 years. She lives in Bumpass, Virginia, with her 14-year-old son Darrick and her 4-step daughters (3 are in college and one is 13). In her spare time Amber enjoys going to football and basketball games, and would like to start her own basketball official’s association. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Ed has lived in Richmond all his life and has seen the city grow a lot. He has spent most of his work life as a detailer and spent 11 years at two different dealerships. Ed has been with James Limousine since 2008. When not working, Ed spends most of his time with his children and he likes to travel.
Christian started working at James Limousine in 2012 as a detailer for 2 ½ years until he transferred into an office position. He worked in the office as a reservationist for 2 years and moved into the dispatch role for approximately a year. At that time that he proposed to his now wife, and moved to California with her, where he works remotely as a reservationist. Outside of work he enjoys going on hikes with his wife on the mountainous California coastline and also enjoys taking advantage of the many professional sports teams nearby that they get to see play.
